July 2020 – “Breathe London” wins SMART 50 Award

Air quality online: AQMesh project receives award in the category Digital Transformation.

The Breathe London project has been announced as the winner of a SMART 50 Award by Smart Cities Connect. This award is given annually to the most innovative and influential global smart cities projects.

Breathe London was created to better understand the influences of air pollution on London’s residents. It combines state-of-the-art technology with new data analytics and delivers real-time air quality data at a hyperlocal level in the city. For this purpose, a network of 100 AQMesh Pods was set up in the Greater London area as part of the “Breathe London” project.
