February 2021 – 2B Technologies receives Tibbetts Award 2020

Award-winning, innovative, cutting-edge technologies for air quality monitoring.

2B Technologies from Boulder in Colorado (USA) have been developing high-quality, portable and user-friendly systems for monitoring air quality, in particular ozone measuring devices, since 2000: whether on a drone, a kite, the summit of Mont Blanc or in the hands of a student.
The innovative systems are suitable for use in measuring environments with special conditions and are also smaller, lighter, more energy-efficient and cheaper than conventional measuring devices.

In addition, 2B Technologies also supports the next generation of researchers. Their educational program AQTreks allows students to explore air pollution along treks of their own design and in their own neighborhoods.

For these achievements, 2B Technologies has now received the renowned Tibbetts Award. This award is given to recipients of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funds who achieve exceptional results.
