December 2019 – Continuous ambient multi-metals monitor Xact® 625i

The Xact® 625i Ambient Metals Monitor from Cooper Environmental offers continuous multi-metals monitoring in the PM fraction.

We noticed a development towards just determining the mass and number of particles not being enough anymore, but that their components are increasingly becoming the focus of attention.
The Xact® 625i is suitable for measuring heavy metals and other elements in the ambient air. Thanks to the X-ray fluorescence method (EDXRF) and time-resolved measurement (every 15 min in ng/m³), ​​the device continuously provides information on the metal content in the PM fraction and is therefore one of the leading measuring instruments in metal and particle measurement technology.
